The iniBuilds A350 in Cobalt.

Everything you track works in full: the live map, Lock Screen, alerts, and logbook. The A350 keeps its FCU private, so speed, heading, and altitude stay on the glareshield.

Readouts are free. Remote control is part of Cobalt Peak.

What Cobalt does with the iniBuilds A350

Reading is free on every plan. Changing anything from the phone is Cobalt Peak.

What Cobalt reads

  • Position, speed, altitude, and heading on the live map and Lock Screen
  • Flight phase, top-of-descent alerts, and an automatic logbook entry
  • Engines, fuel, electrical, and pressurization readouts
  • Lights, gear, flaps, and cockpit switch states
  • FCU speed, heading, altitude, and V/S when the aircraft publishes them
  • COM1 and COM2, active and standby
  • Autopilot disconnect, engine failure, and sim paused alerts

What you can control with Peak

  • Camera views, pause, scheduled pause, and sim rate
  • Autopilot mode buttons, best effort
  • Lights, parking brake, seatbelt signs, and probe heat, best effort
  • Engine start and cutoff, APU, gear, and flaps, best effort
  • COM1 and COM2 tuning and swap, best effort
  • FCU values and knob push and pull stay on the cockpit FCU

Compatibility notes

Good to know before you fly

LimitationSet the FCU in the cockpit

The A350 ignores external commands for its FCU values and knobs. Cobalt does not pretend otherwise: the Autopilot card names the aircraft and asks you to adjust speed, heading, and altitude on the glareshield.

WorksTracking is complete

The live map, Lock Screen Live Activities, phase and top-of-descent alerts, the logbook, and flight reports all come from sim-level data and work in full.

NoteSim-level controls work

Camera views, pause, scheduled pause before top of descent, and sim rate are handled by the sim, not the aircraft, so they work with Peak like on any aircraft.

NoteHow Cobalt spots it

The Bridge recognizes iniBuilds in the aircraft title. The MSFS 2024 default A320neo, which iniBuilds built for Asobo, is not affected and keeps full FCU control.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does Cobalt work with the iniBuilds A350?

Yes, for tracking. The live map, Live Activities, alerts, logbook, and Systems readouts work in MSFS 2020 and 2024. The A350 keeps its FCU private, so speed, heading, altitude, and V/S are set in the cockpit, not from the app.

Why can't I set the A350 FCU from my phone?

The A350 ignores the external commands Cobalt would send for its FCU. Rather than send commands that silently fail, the Bridge reports that the FCU is cockpit-only, and the app says so on the Autopilot card.

Is Peak worth it for the A350?

Peak still adds camera views, pause and scheduled pause, sim rate, Relay away from home, full history, and reports. Lights, switches, and mode buttons are best effort on this aircraft. If remote FCU control matters most, try the free plan first.

Will A350 support improve?

The Bridge ships dedicated profiles when an aircraft exposes a reliable control path, as it did for the Fenix, FlyByWire, PMDG, and iFly aircraft. Nothing is promised for the A350 yet. Tell us on the support page if it matters to you.
