The Fenix A320 in Cobalt.
The deepest profile Cobalt has. With Peak, set the FCU, push and pull the knobs, run the lights and APU, and tune the RMP, all through Fenix's own cockpit variables.
Readouts are free. Remote control is part of Cobalt Peak.
What Cobalt does with the Fenix A320
Reading is free on every plan. Changing anything from the phone is Cobalt Peak.
What Cobalt reads
- Position, speed, altitude, and heading on the live map and Lock Screen
- Flight phase, top-of-descent alerts, and an automatic logbook entry
- Engines, fuel, electrical, and pressurization readouts
- Lights, gear, flaps, and cockpit switch states
- FCU speed, heading, altitude, and V/S from the Fenix FCU display
- Managed dots and the AP1, A/THR, and APPR button lights
- COM1 and COM2, active and standby
- Autopilot disconnect, engine failure, and sim paused alerts
What you can control with Peak
- FCU speed, heading, altitude, and V/S through Fenix's encoder variables
- Push for managed, pull for selected, on all four FCU knobs
- AP1, A/THR, and APPR buttons
- Beacon, strobe, nav and logo, landing, and nose lights
- Parking brake, seatbelt signs, probe heat, ground spoiler arm, APU
- COM1 and COM2 through the RMP knobs and transfer key

Good to know before you fly
On MSFS 2020 with SU12 or later, and on MSFS 2024, the Bridge reads and writes the Fenix cockpit variables directly through SimConnect. No WASM module, no LVar exporter.
Before SU12, SimConnect cannot write aircraft variables, so Cobalt uses the free MobiFlight WASM module as a fallback. Without it, the Autopilot card shows a one-time hint to install it.
The A320 has no NAV button. In Cobalt, NAV pushes the heading knob for managed navigation, and LOC arms through the approach path, the same way it does on the glareshield.
Lights and switches use Fenix's own switch positions, so the tiles show what the overhead shows. Strobe treats AUTO as off, so a tap from AUTO goes to ON. Nav and logo share one switch.
Engine masters go out as standard sim events, which the Fenix may not follow. Start the engines on the pedestal if the card reports the command did not land.
The Bridge detects the profile from Fenix in the aircraft title, so every Fenix A320-family aircraft and livery uses it.
Questions, answered.
Can Cobalt control the Fenix A320 FCU?
Yes, with Peak. Cobalt sets speed, heading, altitude, and V/S by turning the Fenix FCU encoders, pushes and pulls the knobs for managed and selected modes, and presses AP1, A/THR, and APPR. Each change is checked against the FCU display.
Do I need MobiFlight for the Fenix A320?
Not on current sims. MSFS 2020 with SU12 or later and MSFS 2024 let the Bridge write Fenix's variables directly. Only older MSFS 2020 builds need the MobiFlight WASM module, and the app tells you if that applies.
Can I tune the radios on the Fenix?
Yes, with Peak. Cobalt turns the RMP outer and inner knobs to reach the frequency you enter and presses the transfer key, for COM1 on RMP 1 and COM2 on RMP 2. It handles both 8.33 and 25 kHz spacing.
Is the live data free?
Yes. Telemetry, the FCU windows, the live map, Lock Screen Live Activities, alerts, and the logbook are free. Turning knobs and flipping switches from the phone is part of Cobalt Peak.
Is Cobalt made by Fenix?
No. Cobalt is an independent companion app. It works with the Fenix A320 through the aircraft's cockpit variables. Cobalt is not affiliated with Fenix Simulations.
