Cobalt
Setup guide

Bridge + vPilot, step by step

Follow this once on the PC that runs Microsoft Flight Simulator. X-Plane / xPilot does not have a Cobalt plugin yet — outgoing messages still copy as .msg.

1
Install Cobalt Bridge Download Windows or Mac from the downloads page, run the installer, then quit any old tray copy before launching the new one.
2
Activate this PC In Bridge, choose Activate this PC and paste the code from Cobalt Settings → Cobalt Bridge (Peak).
3
Install the vPilot plugin On Bridge Overview tap Install vPilot plugin. It copies CobaltVPilot.dll into %LOCALAPPDATA%\vPilot\Plugins\.
4
Restart vPilot Fully quit vPilot, reopen it, then confirm Cobalt Companion under Settings → Plugins. Update vPilot if Bridge warns about .NET Framework 4.8.
5
Connect the phone Open Cobalt, connect to Bridge (same Wi-Fi or Peak). Inbox → Message ATC now sends like vPilot .msg, and replies land on your phone.

Host/remote setups: install the plugin on the host vPilot instance — the one connected to the sim and VATSIM.
