The iFly 737 MAX in Cobalt.
Live telemetry for every leg, free. With Peak, Cobalt drives the MCP through the controls the aircraft publishes. Some builds keep the MCP private, and the app tells you when that is the case.
Readouts are free. Remote control is part of Cobalt Peak.
What Cobalt does with the iFly 737 MAX
Reading is free on every plan. Changing anything from the phone is Cobalt Peak.
What Cobalt reads
- Position, speed, altitude, and heading on the live map and Lock Screen
- Flight phase, top-of-descent alerts, and an automatic logbook entry
- Engines, fuel, electrical, and pressurization readouts
- Lights, gear, flaps, and cockpit switch states
- MCP targets when the aircraft mirrors them to the sim
- COM1 and COM2, active and standby
- Autopilot disconnect, engine failure, and sim paused alerts
What you can control with Peak
- MCP speed, heading, altitude, and V/S through the aircraft's input events
- Autopilot, flight director, autothrottle, and mode buttons, best effort
- Lights, parking brake, seatbelt signs, and pitot heat, best effort
- Engine start and cutoff, APU, gear, and flaps, best effort
- COM1 and COM2 tuning and swap, best effort
- Camera views, pause, scheduled pause, and sim rate

Good to know before you fly
The iFly MCP is not exposed as regular cockpit variables. The Bridge asks the sim which input events the loaded aircraft publishes and matches the MCP selectors and buttons by name. No extra software.
If the loaded build publishes no matching controls, Cobalt falls back to standard events, and the Autopilot card says the panel may not follow. Every command is read back, so you always know.
Lights, engines, and overhead switches go out as standard sim events. Cobalt tells you when the aircraft did not follow.
The Bridge looks for iFly together with a 737 type or MAX in the aircraft title, so older iFly aircraft are not mistaken for the MAX.
Questions, answered.
Does Cobalt work with the iFly 737 MAX?
Yes, in MSFS. Tracking, the map, Live Activities, and the logbook are free. With Peak, Cobalt drives the MCP through the controls the aircraft publishes, when the loaded build exposes them.
Why does the app say the panel may not follow?
That line appears when the loaded iFly build publishes no MCP controls the Bridge can match. Commands are still sent as standard events and read back, so you see whether each one landed.
Do I need to install anything for the iFly?
No. The free Cobalt Bridge on the sim PC is all you need. There is no WASM module or exporter to install.
Is Cobalt affiliated with iFly?
No. Cobalt is an independent companion app that works with the iFly 737 MAX through standard SimConnect interfaces.
