Questions

Which versions of X-Plane?

X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12 on Windows or macOS.

Does the Bridge need a plugin in X-Plane?

No plugin to install by hand. Run the Bridge on the same machine as X-Plane and it connects on its own.

Does ATC messaging work on X-Plane?

Yes, on VATSIM through xPilot. Enable xPilot messaging in Bridge Overview and point xPilot at Cobalt. It takes two taps.

Does it work with add-on aircraft?

Yes. Telemetry works for everything. Some study-level aircraft with custom systems expose fewer remote controls.
